The International Federation of Consular Chamber for Africa (FICA) is a Pan-African, non-profit Federation that unites National Consular Chambers, Economic Diplomatic offices, and allied institutions across all 54 African nations into a single, High-Impact Institutional Network.
FICA is designed to be the core body for Consular Commerce on the Continent combining the diplomatic credibility of Consular Institutions with the Trade dynamism needed to drive African Economic Integration.
FICA was created to promote and align African Diplomacy with Global Diplomacy, focusing on mutual understanding. It includes strengthening and developing relations between foreign countries and FICA Member States in the fields of economy, investments, culture, and education.

Empower Africa’s Growth
We work to strengthen economic cooperation, promote investment opportunities, and support sustainable development initiatives across Africa.
Connecting Africa's Consular Networks for Diplomacy, Economy & Development
The current crisis of multilateralism has triggered the growing importance of traditional bilateral diplomacy. More often, the current diplomatic failures stem from eroding trust, competing national interests, weakening of multilateral institutions, information fragmentation, and rising nationalism. Traditional hard power approaches often escalate these tensions rather than resolve them.
FICA rebuilds trust through track-two diplomacy, promotes soft power strategies, and positions Africa as a unified continental force in global affairs.
